John Galliano, the documentary

This is one of my most recent finds that made me change my mind about writing a usual bio generously sprinkled with photographs. I always feel (and mentioned it several times in the past) that seeing a fashion show has an incredible power over our imagination and emotions – much stronger than any beautiful photo from a collection. Combined with a story told by Galliano himself as well as people who admire his talent turns this documentary into a precious gem. Enjoy this beautiful fashion moment…

So did I get the title right to grab your attention? Today’s post was inspired by our on-going bathroom renovation project and my love for beautiful fashion editorials. Weekend sign off

Whenever a week is busy in a good way, it gives me a special pleasure to welcome a weekend, wake up purring and stretching like a lazy cat, having a fun fight with pupster who jumps in bed as soon as he senses any movement, and running to the kitchen to make breakfast and coffee (a weekend-only treat).

I’m hoping for the sun and blue sky kind of day or two because I am starting to miss long walks. To be very honest, I also miss the spring very much and every ray of sunshine works as a reminder that my favourite season isn’t that far away. It makes me happy.

Paris fashion week is a tempting, beautiful and simply irresistible feast for the eyes and mind. It is the final accord in a symphony of fashion worth waiting for and tuning to because this is where the culmination happens, all the notes sound in perfect harmony and all the missing pieces find their place in our hearts and, for the lucky ones, wardrobes.

Paris, I love you so very much.
